Round 1, Beaker

~ Beaker ~

The first house in Strangetown is The Beakers. Circe and Loki live here with Nervous Subject.

Circe Beaker- Become City Planner

Nervous Subject- Become Education Min.

Loki Beaker- Become Mad Scientist (very fitting)

The scripted mental breakdown and roach-infestation is just slightly more scary with my real sickness mod. Thank goodness for exterminators!

Nervous invited over his best friend, Pascal. Before I started my neighborhood, I randomized everyone who didn't already have a gender preference. Only about 10% of them all are gay, and these two are part of that. They have been a couple in so many of my games before, I just love them together!

Loki just sat there waiting for someone to join him.. didn't realize they HAD to play with someone. Sorry Loki.

Nervous, being the family sim that he is, couldn't help but be so excited for Pascal and his alien bundle of joy.

With two bolts, they had their first kiss fairly fast. Although Nervous looks to be about 3-4 inches inside his face.

After getting her promotion, Circe quit her job in the Medical field and found an opening in the Architecture department straight away. Doesn't she look adorable in that hard hat?  

I hardly ever use the career reward objects, but The Beakers have so many in their house so, why not!

Of course being a knowledge sim, Loki is very interested in outer-space.

Nervous and Pascal became very close the first few days playing them. I decided to have him move in to have his baby here, that way Nervous could help out, and the layout of this house is soo much better than The Curious Brother's.

With a house full of slobs, a maid is only necessary.

Not long after moving in, Pascal gives birth.

Everyone is so excited! :D it was a little girl named, Starla.

Loki was amazing with Starla. Him and Circe have been TFB every day with no luck, and as he's getting older, he's really longing for a child of his own.

Fun fact: Mean sims will yell at the mirror when "practicing speech"

Loki's wish finally came true! He was abducted, and after doing the pregnancy scanner, found out he's having twins!

Starla is a very happy little baby! Watching her fall asleep in his bouncer is too cute.

One daddy cooks breakfast (sloppily) while the other feeds the baby. All while being in their matching pj's!

His pregnancy is starting to show :)

Circe was very content earning promotions and money, but after TFB for a few nights, she ended up getting pregnant from risky woohoo instead! (Theres like a 10% chance of it happening in my game compared to around 50% chance of pregnancy from TFB) Just a single baby.

Before they knew it, it was Starla's birthday! Here's some Starla Spam <3

She's suchhhh a cutie. Look's just like her PT dad though.

These two decided it was time to make it official. They lived together, were raising a baby, now they are married! Pascal Curious- Become Media Magnante

With three babies coming, Loki and Circe thought it was best they leave their old house to Nervous and Pascal, so that they could find a bigger place better suited for them.

Pascal gave his good-bye's and thank you's. They helped a lot with Starla, and to leave that big house to them was pretty nice of them!

This house was really fun to play. I have a soft spot for Nervous, and am too much of a softy myself to play to the cliché maxis, "Beakers hate Nervous" scenario. Round 1, Oresha-Hoh-Var Fraternity

~ Oresha-Hoh-Var Fraternity ~

Welcome to the Fraternity household! This will be the last house to play in LFT, before I go to Strangetown. After Strangetown will be ALT, then Veronaville, SSU and lastly, Pleasantview. I originally planned on playing all the uni hoods one after another, but to avoid poking my own eyes out from boredom, I decided differently :)

 Firstly, Matthew Hart- graduate 3 kids from college

 Mickey Dosser- have 20 lovers at once

 Guy Wrightley- have 20 best friends at once

 Left to his own devices, this is what Matthew usually does.

 I should add that Guy is slightly older than his roomates, I believe it was his relatives that founded the house?

 The best part about these Greek houses is that someone is always bringing home fresh pizza for everyone.

 Matthew is dating Sarah Love, but after finding her someone even better suited for her, and the fact that Matt is a family sim but still has rolled no wants towards Sarah what-so-ever, I'm actively seeking a partner for him. He has two bolts with Jane Stacks here.

 These guy's all have super low neat points, but someone has to clean!

 At the start of the game, Mickey is on academic probation, but after studying hard and gaining all the skills required, he managed to get off it after the first semester I played.

 Yeah, I mean what's logical about just picking up a book that's on the floor and studying, when you could just take another one out and set it on the floor when you're done, right?

 Mickey finally met a girl he liked, Heather Huffington. They have 3 bolts! She doesn't even have any of his turn-ons!

 Enjoying a nice family lunch together.

 What's my biggest weakness? Trying NOT to give maxis sims makeovers. But, look at Heather, she looks especially cute after!

 Guy found his passion in Art.

 Guy's girlfriend, Jasmine always makes sure to visit her boyfriend whenever she can. They're such a cute couple. But, enjoy this photo, cause this is the last happy picture for this round..

 Someone I guess tipped over the trashcan, I didn't notice, so of course we had some tiny friends pay a visit.

 Poor Matt and Mickey both got the flu from those darn things.

 Let me tell you.. It is VERY hard trying to have everyone get the skills they need, go to class, finish their turn paper, and take care of them when they have the flu. I also have the "faster college mod" so it's only one day a semester.

 This "real sickness" mod does not mess around.. Mickey comes home from class, only to meet a terrible fate.

 Guy and Mickey were good friends, so of course it was hard on him.

 He was moved to the Strangetown cemetery with the two other LFT students who have passed.

 Instant meal is the fastest way to fill up a belly before finishing homework.

 And of course trying my hardest to make sure Guy doesn't get sick, didn't pan out so well.

 I'm not sure if my game glitched or what, but I totally forgot Matt can make comfort soup.. But after Guy ate it, I got the notification that the sickness was "melting away" and straight after got another one that said, "Guy is sick with the flu"

The soup didn't work for Matthew either.

Thanks for reading, guys! I actually feel really bad about Mickey.. I kind of liked him, and I was really excited about him and Heather. These two are still sick, and I think Guy only has one semester of school left, while Matthew has two or three, so i'm not sure if they'll live through the complete next round. The "real sickness" mod I have is basically a death sentence if sims get it, which in my experience, they don't get too often. Anyways, off to The Beakers!
